Wizz Air was incorporated in 2003 and it has 15 bases at different countries in Europe. Its headquarters are located at Airport Business Park C2, Vecses that lies near Budapest Ferihegy International Airport.

Wizz Air Booking Services

As part of the booking services Wizz Air passengers can change their bookings, perform web check-in and payment transfer operations from their bank accounts and book hotels. Group booking services are available for at least 25 people.

Wizz Air Payment Options

Passengers can pay when they book the flights or avail the call centers where the payment would have to be made with debit or credit cards. Passengers can also avail the travel agents that partner the Hungarian carrier.

Wizz Air Check-in and Boarding Regulations

The check-in procedures start a couple of hours prior to take off and end 40 minutes before the scheduled start. If a passenger is unable to show up by that time his or her reservation would be negated. They are also advised to bring along necessary documents such as visas and passports. Web check-in facilities are provided.

Pregnant ladies are not allowed to travel if they have been in such condition for 34 weeks or more. Women who have been pregnant for more than 28 weeks but less than 34 weeks can go provided they have relevant medical certificates.

Refunds are available but only under special circumstances. Children less than 2 years can fly in exchange of an infant fare and children between 2 to 14 years need to be booked with full fare.

Wizz Air Baggage Regulations

Passengers are not allowed to carry up to 6 pieces of luggage that should not weigh more than 71 pounds. The maximum weight allowed in case of hand baggage is 22 pounds. Sports equipments could be carried in lieu of a fee.

Wizz Air On Board Services

Wizz Air passengers can opt for a diverse selection of snacks and refreshments from Wizz Café. Individual assistance is provided to specially abled passengers. Wheelchairs are also provided if the passengers ask for such facilities while booking at through the call centers. Additional oxygen and other medical assistance are provided if passengers furnish documents to that effect.
