Transavia is an airline of Netherlands. It is a budget subsidiary of Air France- KLM group. In 2000, it was a charter airline which was known as Basiq Air. In 1998, it was the first overseas airline to maintain flight operations in Greece.


At the beginning, it was known as Transavia Limburg and was again renamed as Transavia Airlines. It first took to the skies in 1986, from Amsterdam to London.

Main Hub The main hub of Transavia is Schiphol International Airport. The secondary hubs of this airline are Eindhoven Airport and Rotterdam Airport. It maintains scheduled flight operations in various international destinations.
