The company is known to operate domestic flights in New Zealand under the Qantas brand service in Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua, Christchurch and Queenstown. JetConnect is also known to operate long-haul international flights simultaneously with the help of Qantas mainline crews from Australia to international destinations around the world.
From May 2006 onwards the Company has started operating eight 737-300 aircrafts in almost 342 domestic and Trans Tasman flights in one week. Recently the company with the intention to expand its wings has started two aircrafts operating 48 services a week on the Tasman from Wellington to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. JetConnect is also operating flights from Auckland to Adelaide and Brisbane.
Some of the important JetConnect Airline airports are in New Zealand, Queenstown, Wellington, and Christchurch.
As it is part of the Qantas Airways, it is possible for it to avail of different facilities of Qantas itself. But it doesn’t offer any frequent flyer programs or any such advantages that are common for the passengers of Qantas Airways.
