Check in for GoAir flights starts 2 hours before departure. However, passengers need to be at the gates at least 45 minutes prior to take off. Check-in stops 40 minutes before the flight leaves. The hand baggage that can be taken on board needs to be less than 22 pounds. The maximum weight allowance for checked baggage is 44 pounds for GoSmart class passengers, 77 pounds in case of GoBusiness passengers and 44 pounds in case of Go Flexi passengers. They will be required to provide documents such as passports, PAN cards, driving license, photo ID cards from governmental, well known private sector or publicly held set ups, voter ID cards and photo credit cards. GoAir accepts kids aged 5-12 years flying without being accompanied by others. However, when their booking is done it is necessary to ask for Unaccompanied Minor services provided by the airline. Pregnant women in their 28th week and in good health are allowed to travel without medical certification that is necessary for women between 28th – 36th week of pregnancy. Women who have been expecting for more than 36 weeks are not allowed to travel. Natural born children can board flights after 7 days from their birth. In case of children born in the caesarean section the minimum requisite age is 2 weeks.
