Alpi Eagles SpA was opened in 1979. Paolo Sinigalia, an Italian businessman, was one of the main people in the set up by virtue of being the majority share holder in the company. It was only in May 1996 that the company went into passenger services. The company had to shut down in 2008 after it was prohibited from operating by the Civil Aviation Authority of Italy.
