Air North was incorporated in 1977. It provides ground handling and cargo services in addition to charter and passenger services. It primarily operates within Canada but covers Alaska as well.

Air North's official name is Air North Charter and Training Ltd. Its hub is Whitehorse International Airport and its focus cities are Dawson City and Vancouver. Its head offices are at Whitehorse in Yukon. Its President cum CEO is Joseph Sparling.

Air North Booking Services

As part of its booking services Air North allows passengers to change and cancel their flights, confirm them, look up their schedules and procure their passenger ID numbers. Group travel facilities are provided for at least 10 people. Sales related assistance is provided in case passengers are attending meetings and conventions. It also operates special programs like Corporate Travel Freedom and Compassionate Travel.

Air North Regulations

Students who are availing Air North flights need to be at the counter at least 90 minutes before the flight takes off. They also need to provide authentic photo identification documents.

Air North Fleet

Air North has four major types of aircraft - Hawker Siddeley 748, Boeing 737-500, Boeing 737-400 and Boeing 737-200. It has 1 Boeing 737-500 that can carry 122 passengers and 1 Boeing 737-400 that can accommodate 153 people. There are 3 Boeing 737-200s that can each carry 120 passengers and 4 Hawker Siddeley 748s.
