One of the leading airlines of the world, Northwest Airlines (NWA) was founded in 1926. Began as a mail carrier from Minneapolis/St.Paul to Chicago, Northwest Airlines, along with its partners from North America, Europe and Asia, at present serves 1000 cities in more than 160 countries spread along six continents. Northwest's partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines in 1991 went into history for being the first ever airline alliance in the world. In-Flight Services and Facilities
To provide comfort to the passengers during their journey, Northwest Airlines offers various in-flight facilities and services. These include in-flight meals, movies and entertainment, free on board magazine called WorldTraveler and duty free shopping.

Bookings and Reservations
Northwest Airlines reservations can be made online. Flight reservations can be changed after confirmation of bookings has been done. On cancellation of bookings, the customers are entitled to ticket refunds. The customers can also have electronic credit vouchers.

Notifications of the Northwest Airlines flight status are sent to the customers via e-mail. This will include information about the departure and arrival of the flights.
