The full form for MIAT is "Mongolyn Irgenii Agaaryn Teever". MIAT Mongolian Airlines is the national airline of Mongolia and is located in Ulan Bator, the capital city of Mongolia. The MIAT Mongolian Airlines was set up in 1956 and initially it was known by various names like Mongolian Airlines or Air Mongol. The first flight operation under MIAT Mongolian Airline took place on 7 July 1956 and it flew from Ulan Bator to Irkutsk on its first flight.
The MIAT Mongolian Airlines main hub is Chinggis Khaan International Airport.
