FlyLal airlines was also known as the Lithuanian Airlines and LAL. It was the national airline of Lithuania, based in Vilnius. It began its operations in September 1991 but shut down in January 2009.
FlyLal History
The national airline of Lithuania, FlyLal was established on 20th September 1991. Its main base was Vilnius International Airport. Its focus city was the Palanga International Airport. Due to financial difficulties, FlyLal suspended operations on 17 January 2009.
FlyLal Services
The FlyLal airline operated domestic and international scheduled services to a number of destinations like Austria, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Russia and Spain. The airline had a number of aircraft as fleet. They were Boeing 737-500 and Saab 2000.
