The largest airline in China,
Air China, combines excellent service with traditional Chinese hospitality. Air China commenced operating from 1st July,1988. Previously a division of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Air China got its name in 1988 when the CAAC was split and each division became a separate airline. Today, it is the China National Aviation Holding Company (CNAH) that owns Air China.
Air China has its main hub in Beijing. From Beijing it runs a number of flights to various international destinations thus connecting China with South Asia, Europe, Australia, North America and South America. The major destinations of Air China are Japan, Mongolia, Australia, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc.
