But, the most convenient and the widely availed Philippine airline booking mechanism in the modern days is the online booking. Philippine Airlines has come up with a fully automated facility called 'Calendar Pricing'. The e-tickets of Philippine Airlines can be booked either through PAL official website or from PAL reservations office or PAL ticket office.

Merits of E-tickets
This electronic version of paper tickets saves you from the trouble of carrying tickets with you while flying. While you register online, your reservation gets stored in the airline's computer system. But, these tickets cannot be purchased with the exchange of cash or check. Credit card payment is the only mode of payment in this process.

Ready confirmation through online booking
The PAL online booking system works on Travel Distribution Platform (TDP). This system does the following jobs in one go:

• Accepts bookings
• Confirms the selected flight
• Processes credit card used for payment
• Issues the electronic ticket(s)
• Sends the Confirmation Summary and Itinerary Receipt to the buyer

The flyers thus can be sure of their reservation status at the simple click of a mouse. The flyer can also check his/her reservation status in the official website.

Some important points to remember for online ticket buyers

• A maximum of 7 tickets (including adults and children) can be purchased on the credit card number of a single user
• The credit card holder needs not be the passenger or any member of the traveling team
• A seat cannot be reserved by e-mail
• Online booking is possible only for flights departing 2 days to 10 months from the date of booking
• To make any changes on the booking, you need to visit any Philippine Airlines Tickets office, send e-mail to onlinebooking@pal.com.ph (penalties may be charged on the conditions attached to the fare)
• In case of ticket cancellation, the refund is credited directly to the credit cardholder's (whose credit card number was used for the ticket purchase) credit card account (penalties may be charged on the conditions attached to the fare)
