Airline Paint Jobs - Duties
A person applying for the airline paint job have the responsibility of coating surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and track rags.
Aircraft painter is also responsible for preparing aircrafts for washing, stripping, painting and polishing by masking; ensuring proper packaging and handling of paint related hazardous waste; and taking preventive measures to avoid corrosion.
Airline Paint Jobs - Qualifications
For airline painter jobs one should have a high school education or equivalent, along with 2–4 years of experience as a commercial aircraft painter.
