Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is the largest airport in the US State of Texas and second largest in the US. It is the third busiest airport in the world in terms of aircraft movement and sixth busies in terms of passenger traffic carrying no less than 60 million passengers in 2006 alone. The airport serves as the main hub of airlines like American Airlines and American Eagle with 84% of all the flights being operated by American Airlines. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Dallas, Texas, was also chosen as “the best cargo airport in the world” in a 2005 survey by Air Cargo World and is estimated to carry nearly 60% of all the cargo in Texas. The airport has five terminals which are interlinked by the world's largest automated airport train system named SkyLink to increase convenience and efficiency of the system. Terminal C caters to domestic flights only from American Airlines. Spread over an area of 2 million sq. feet, International Terminal D is the largest one with 28 gates and capacity to handle daily passenger traffic of 32,000.
