Airline Dispatch Jobs – Duties
Airline dispatcher jobs include the responsibility of planning the flight, taking into consideration the weather, any maintenance problems on the aircraft and navigational facilities at the appropriate airports. He prime responsibility also includes maintaining coordination with Dispatch supervisor regarding any mechanical problems and updating station and operations personnel on flight and system status.
Qualifications for Airline Dispatch Jobs
Airline Dispatcher jobs require working under stressful conditions. A candidate applying for airline dispatch jobs should have a high school degree or equivalent, must posses a valid passport and FAA approved Dispatch License. A college degree with a specialization in air transportation or meteorology is preferred for this post. Along with these basic requirements, he should also have excellent oral and written skills and good problem solving skills.
