Airline Cargo Jobs – Duties
Airline Cargo Jobs includes Airline Baggage and Cargo Handling jobs, which includes duties like loading and unloading luggage and freight from aircraft between flights. The cargo handlers are also trained to operate and maintained machineries, such as forklifts, baggage conveyors, barcode scanners and various freight and baggage vehicles. They are also required to clean the aircrafts and runways.
Baggage and Cargo Handlers have to wear uniforms for security purpose and should also be willing to work in shifts, as airplanes arrive and depart around the clock.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum age required for applying to the Airline Cargo jobs is 18 years. Airline Baggage and Cargo handlers should be high school graduate or equivalent, willing to work in shifts and posses valid driver’s license. Cargo handlers must be willing to work in all types of weather and in a noisy environment under deadline pressure.
