Membership Level:
The membership level is determined by the number of Basic points one earns during a qualification period. There are two types of EuroBonus points, Basic and Extra. Both can be exchanged for bonus trips and EuroBonus offers. Basic points also count towards upgrade to a higher membership level.
Members Upgradation to Silver and Gold:
The members are automatically upgraded to Silver or Gold membership when they have earned the required number of Basic points within the period. The number of points required for upgrade varies from region to region. The member's personal 12-month qualification period starts with the month they enrolled in EuroBonus.
It should be kept in mind that benefits are effective the day the members are upgraded.

Earning Miles:
The airlines' principle is simple, 'the more you spend the more points you earn':
- The members earn 25% of the points earned for a normal economy ticket.
- The Gold or Silver members earn 25% and 15% extra Basic points respectively on every flight, regardless of ticket. This benefit is valid on airBaltic, Blue1, Estonian Air, SAS, SAS Braathens and Widerøe
- The members can combine their EuroBonus card with Diners Club or MasterCard and earn points.
- Points you earn on hotels and cars
- Depending which hotel or partner the member stays with, they earn between 300 - 500 Basic or Extra points, and on cars 500 Extra points per rental.
Qualifying Flights:
You can also become a Gold member by making a set number of one-way flights with flights operated by Blue1, SAS, SAS Braathens and Widerøe in Business.

Purchasing Points:
The members can buy Extra points to bring their desired trip, hotel stay or car rental within their reach or even use them as a gift to another EuroBonus member.
There is no limit to the amount of points they may purchase. The points the members buy are purchased in euro currency and in blocks of 1000, the price starts at € 55.
