British Midlands Airlines Flight Services

The British Midlands Airlines is the first airline to offer a choice of vegetarian cuisine on board in the United Kingdom and Europe. The in-flight services offered by the British Midlands Airlines are according to the fares or 'class of travel' chosen, and include – Catering Service On Board, In-flight Entertainment, In-flight Magazines, Seating Arrangement Facilities, and Facilities for Passengers with Special Needs.

Seats :

• Business Class – Luxurious Sleeper Seats are available for Business Class passengers with 60 inches of legroom and 160 degrees recline.
• Premium Economy – The passengers of Premium Economy have access to seats with 38 inches of legroom and adjustable footrest, headrest and lumbar support.

• Economy Class – Seats in the Economy Class have legroom of 32 inches with adjustable footrest, headrest and lumbar support.

Catering Service :

• For ‘short haul’ Business Class travelers on regional services, complimentary food and drinks are served on board, which include ‘traditional English breakfast’ and ‘healthy food options’.
• For ‘short haul’ passengers traveling in Economy, Premium Economy or ‘Tiny’ Class, refreshments are not complimentary. Passengers have the option to purchase refreshments on board as and when necessary.
• Passengers traveling in Economy Class on regional flights are served with complimentary refreshments appropriate to the time of the day.
• For ‘long haul’ Business Class passengers, catering services include – a welcoming glass of champagne and a choice of international cuisine.
• To passengers traveling in ‘long haul’ Premium Economy and Economy Class, a choice of international cuisine and complimentary bar service are offered on board.

In-flight Entertainment :

• In-flight entertainment at the British Midlands Airlines Flights includes 9 inch arm rest mounted video screens in the Business Class and individual seat back screens in the rest of the cabin.
• 11 movie, 9 television and 16 audio channels are offered on board. There is also the provision for PC games.
• Laptop power, telephones and dataports are available in some seats.
• Complimentary magazines and newspapers are offered on board, which include the British Midlands Airlines In-flight Magazine.

Other Services :

• Complimentary Comfort Kits are offered to the passengers in some British Midlands Airlines flights.
• Lounge Access is provided to the passengers traveling in the Business or Premium Economy Classes.
