About the airlines
Asiana Airlines is one of South Korea's two major airlines. It is both smaller in size and younger in age than Korean Air. The airline was established on 17 February 1988 and started its operations from December 1988 with flights to Busan. It was formed by the Kumho Asiana Group (formerly known as the Kumho Group) as a part of the South Korean government's policy of creating a second flag carrier.
Headquarter
Asiana airlines headquarter is located at Incheon International Airport.
Hubs
Asiana Airlines overseas hub is located at Incheon International Airport and its domestic hub is at Gimpo International Airport (formerly Kimpo International Airport).
