Al Jumaliyah is a municipality or province in Qatar. It is bordered by five provinces. They are:
Al Ghuwariyah in the northern side.
Al Khawr in the north eastern side
Umm Salal in the eastern side
Ar Rayyan in the south eastern side
Jariyan al Batnah in the southern side.
The geographical position of the province of Al Jumaliyah is 25.62 degrees North latitude and 51.09 degrees East longitude. The population of Al Jumaliyah as recorded in the year 2004 was 13,085 people and the population density is 2.1 square kilometer. The area of Al Jumaliyah as per statistics is 2,611 square kilometers.
The altitude of the province of Al Jumaliyah is 88 feet. The nearby airports of Al Jumaliyah are Al Udeid Ab, Shaikh Isa, Doha Intl, Bharain Intl. The temperature in Celsius in Al Jumaliyah remains 32 degree Celsius to 36 degree Celsius in the months of July -August.
The province of Ar Rayyan is in the south eastern side of Al Jumaliyah and it is the only municipality in Qatar which is land locked. The foot ball team known as Al- Rayyan Sports Club is based in the province of Ar Rayyan which is neighbor to Al Jumaliyah.
