Al Ghuwariyah located in Qatar is a municipality or province of Qatar. The province of Al Ghuwariyah has the Persian Gulf in the western side. On the domain there are three more provinces as borders. There is the province of Madinat ash Shamal in the northern frontiers, Al Khawr in the eastern frontiers, and the province of Al Jumaliyah in the southern side.
The geographical position of the province of Al Ghuwariyah is 25.84 degrees North Latitude and 51.25 degrees East Longitude. Al Ghuwariyah has a population of 2,159 people as recorded in the year 2004. The density of the population distribution is 3.6 square kilometers. The area of Al Ghuwariyah is 622 square kilometers.
Madinat ash Shamal which is located in the northern side of Al Ghuwariyah include a a place called Ras Rakan. Ras Rakan is the farthest point of the peninsula of Qatar and so it is surrounded by the Persian Gulf from all sides excluding the southern side.
AL Ghuwariyah is a province of Qatar and Qatar served as the head quarters and also as one of the main working buildings of the US attack of Iraq in the year 2003.
