Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development is a non profit, private organization founded in the year 1995 by the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al- Thani. The aim of the Qatar Foundation is to develop research, progressive education and community welfare and to increase the potential by these activities. The
Qatar Foundation is chaired by the wife of Emir, Her Highness Sheikha Mozah Bint Nasser Al- Missned.

Qatar Foundation is located in the Education City in Doha, Qatar. The 12/17/2007 hosts the branch campuses of some of the world's renowned universities. From the time of the starting of the Foundation, the principle driving force had been to give the residents of Qatar quality education and also to improve their quality of life.
