Located in the outskirts of Doha, the Education City Qatar is a project of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. The Education City Qatar includes the facilities to study from school upto the research level. The Education City also has the branch of some of the world famous universities.
In the region of Qatar, the Education City aims to become the center for excellence in the field of education. In the Education City few US universities are located viz.

Education City is looked upon as the nucleus for the generation of new knowledge. The Education City provides facilities to the students to contribute ideas into real-world applications. The area of Education City is 2500 acres. The Qatar Foundation aims to compose Education City an International organizer in progressive education and high quality research by clubbing into partnerships with selected institutions.
The Education City trains the students such that to make Qatar knowledge based society. Even after ten years of the foundation of the Education City the aims, visions, promises of the students, faculties, and staff have not changed. On the contrary those ideals and aims have become more progressive and further opportunities are being catered to the people of Qatar.
The future years holds very bright and challenging phases for the Education City. The first segment of Qatar Science and Technology Park would be confirmed open by the end of the year 2007.
