St. Mamede Church
St. Mamede Church is one of the famous Portugal Churches and is a center of pilgrimage. It depicts the life and work of Saint Mamede who was considered as the protector of the animals and that is the reason of the presence of several pictures of traditional blessing of livestock in the church. one of the best Portugal Churches, it was built in 12th century by Dom Afonso Herinques. The church features some of the best architectural patterns. Noteworthy design of the church is an excellent sculpture of the Immaculate Conception located in the the Gothic chancel.
St. Pedro de Penaferrim Church
This Portugal church is religious center of the country, which has a medieval origin. This Church basically depicts the scenes from the life and work of Saint Peter. This magnificently built church boasts of a lacunar vault, blue and white azulejos paneled walls, and Baroque doorway.
