Bydgoszcz is a city located in the northern part of Poland, on the river Vorda and Vistula. The city has a total population of about 369,151 making it the 8th largest city of Poland. Vistula River: this is the largest river of Poland and the drainage between the Baltic Sea. More than 85% of the river's drainage basin lies in the Polish territory. It’s pleasant to meander up to the dam to watch the sunset, or to take an early morning walk down to the river inlet that flows right behind to make a pretty stunning background.
Baltic Sea: Being landlocked and shallow the waters of the Baltic Sea are remarkably fresh. The longest rivers, the Vistula and the Oder, drain the regions that have a temperate and continental climate; and have low evaporation rates and become swollen by spring snow melt, thus further reducing the salinity of the Baltic. The highest salinity is recorded in the western Baltic Sea.
The hotels here are not very large, instead it feels cozy and intimate. The rooms are comfortable here and are modern. But the most breath taking view is from the balcony of the Polish Garden and of the valley beyond.
