Jaworzno is a town and communication center in southern Poland with 94,807 people as estimated in 2022. Jaworzno lies in the Upper Silesian Industrial Region.

The town of Jaworzno is located in the eastern part of the Province of Silesia, between the regions of Upper Silesia and Little Poland. The first mention of Jaworzno happened to be in the 13th century. The area originally belonged to the bishops of Cracow. After Austria’s invasion of Malopolska at the end of the 17th century, several coal mines were excavated there. The population of Jaworzno is 94,807. Jaworzno is among the largest towns in Poland area-wise; the area being 152.2 km². The town is not much compact rather some districts bulge out.

The Hall not only hosts sporting events but caters to concerts and cultural programs.
