The capital city of Peru is Lima, and there are many great tourist locations in Peru, it being the land of the Incas, and having the beautiful Andes mountain range passing though it. It receives a considerable amount of tourists inflow every year.
Peru is in the southern hemisphere, and has tropical and semi tropical climate. However, due to the variation of its terrain, weather patters vary in different places. Peru has arid coastal areas in the west which go as far as the Atacama desert in the southern region, highlands and the Andes mountain range in the central inland region, and plains with tropical rain forest in the east, which leads up to the Amazon plains.
