Universidad Americana is an university in the Republic of Paraguay. The Paraguayan university is known for its stress on the correct impart of liberal arts education.
The Universidad Americana of Paraguay was established in 1994. The university is based in two locations: Ciudad del Este and Asuncion. More than 3,000 students study in the Universidad Americana in Paraguay. The knowledge is imparted by 200 full time professors. A number of experts visit the university as visiting faculty.
The Universidad Americana has four teaching departments:
- Department of Economic Sciences and Administration
- Department of Sciences of the Health
- Department of Law and Social Sciences
- Department of Communication, Art and Technology
