Scuola Italiana Dante Alighieri is one of the oldest schools in Paraguay. The school is also known by a separate and more popular name, Colegio Dante Alighieri. It is an Italian private school in Paraguay that follows traditional ways of teaching and education. Scuola Italiana Dante Alighieri in Paraguay offers bi-lingual education to the students in Italian and Spanish language. The school was initially located in downtown Asuncion, but was later shifted to its present location. The traditional school got recognition from the Ministry of Education of Paraguay in the year 1909 and in 1929; it shifted its base to its current location.
