Scuola Italiana Dante Alighieri is one of the oldest schools in Paraguay. The school is also known by a separate and more popular name, Colegio Dante Alighieri. It is an Italian private school in Paraguay that follows traditional ways of teaching and education. The traditional school was established in the year 1896, after the famous Italian poet, Dante Alighieri. Like many other schools of Paraguay, Scuola Italiana Dante Alighieri also offers education from the primary level to the high school level, i.e. from the kindergarten level to grade twelve.
Scuola Italiana Dante Alighieri in Paraguay offers bi-lingual education to the students in Italian and Spanish language. The school was initially located in downtown Asuncion, but was later shifted to its present location. The traditional school got recognition from the Ministry of Education of Paraguay in the year 1909 and in 1929; it shifted its base to its current location.
The standard of education in Scuola Italiana Dante Alighieri of Paraguay is quite good and the faculty is well-educated and well-trained. Individual care of the students are taken in the school.
