Cheese bun is one of the most popular foods in the country of Paraguay. This particular food is especially consumed as a snack in the breakfasts. The cheese bun is basically cheese bread. The breads are shaped like rolls and carry the flavor of cheese. The Guaranis in Paraguay call this snack by the name of chipa or cunape. The bread of the Paraguay cheese bun is made of corn flour or cassava. The diameter of the cheese bun varies from one to six inches, while the height is generally two inches. The cheese bun of smaller sizes are also much in vogue in Paraguay. If properly cooked, the cheese bun tastes delicious; inner part of the snack is moist. But, if this is not properly cooked, it may taste doughy.
The proper preparation of cheese bun needs the following ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of scraped cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 large spoons of flour
- Salt (according to the taste)
- Chili pepper
- 1 piece of egg
- A quarter cup of water
The mixture of butter and water needs a proper boiling. The cheese and flour should be mixed while the mixture is still on the boil. The egg yolk should then be mixed and the total mixture needs to be stirred. The salt and pepper should be added accordingly. The total mixture should then be shaped like rolls. The total preparation needs nearly 20 minutes.

cheese bun tastes the best, if it is consumed hot.
