Amador Causeway

Amador Causeway is an interesting and one of the most beautiful getaways among all the Panama tourist attractions. Connecting the main land to four smaller islands in the Panama Bay, the path proves to be one of the most sought after walk ways and cycling tracks. The four islands that are connected to the mainland are Naos island, Perico island, Culebra island and Flamenco island.

Amador Causeway is historically significant too. It was made from the stones that were used in the construction of the Panama canal. The Amador Causeway provides a panoramic view of the Panama canal. Facing the entrance of the canal, one can spend hours in the Amador Causeway, watching the ships and ferries entering the canal and trailing under the Bridge of the Americas.

Flanked by the Panama City skyline, Bridge of the Americas, Panama Canal, Balboa Yacht Club and Panama Bay, the Amador Causeway has become one of the most important sightseeing spots in Panama. A long walk down the alley offers some of the most picturesque views of the country.

Amador Causeway has a vibrant nightlife too. The numerous bars, pubs and restaurants in Amador Causeway have proved to be the best tourist hub. Visiting the Marine Exhibition Center is another favorite past time among both the children and the adults. The Fuerte Amador Resort and Marina in the Flamenco island is one of the most important tourist hubs comprised of a shopping center, restaurant and bar.

Amador Causeway is the right place to provide a heady start to a vacation in Panama.
