Panama Flag

Panama Flag has the colors red, blue and white. The rectangle shaped Flag of Panama is divided into four quarters. The top right quarter is red, the left bottom quarter is blue, the right bottom quarter is white with a red star while the top left quarter is white with a blue star. The color white in the National Flag of Panama represents peace and unity. The blue star stands for honesty and purity and the red star for authority and law.

History of Panama Flag reveals that the flag was adopted on the 20th of December in the year 1903. The Panama Flag was designed by Manuel Amador Guerrero, who was the revolutionary leader as well as the first president of Panama. However The Constituent Assembly provisionally approved the flag by the Law 64 of 1904. It was also approved by the Law 4 of 1925 written by the National Assembly and ratified by Law of 28th of March in 1941.
