Palestine Language

Arabic is the major Palestine language. However, there are a number of other languages that co-exist along with Arabic and are spoken by the members of the many races who inhabit the country. Palestine has traditionally had a multi-ethnic society. People from many lands of the Near East have made Palestine their home since time immemorial. It is therefore no surprise that quite a few languages were spoken in Palestine even in the early days. However, most of the languages have now declined under the supremacy of Arabic, which is not only the official language in Palestine but is also the most widely spoken language of the country.

Hebrew is the most prominent minority language of Palestine. Israelites form a minority community in Palestine, and they continue to speak in Hebrew. A number of European languages are also spoken in Palestine, albeit with less popularity. Spanish and German are two such languages that are understood in the country. The educated class of Palestine prefers English, and most of them are well versed in it.
