The Amanah River is one of the rivers of Palestine. The Amanah River runs through the high mountains of Djebi Heish and flown through Manias to Damascus leading to the village of Midjdal.
The waters of the river Amanah in Palestine is very clear and is also used for the drinking purpose. The river flows to the north east to the Damascus. The Amanah River was known as Chrysorrhoas in the past. The meaning of Chrysorrhoas is Gold River.
The Amanah river of Palestine gets divided into two branches near Damascus. One part of the river Amanah of Palestine floes through the city of Palestine and the other branch is basically used for the purpose of irrigation in the adjoining areas. The river finally falls into the Al Baehr Murdj which is a lake.
