Tulkarm is a central Palestinian city. This city of Palestine is situated inside the Green Line. Tulkarm is at a distance of 15 kilometers on eastern side of the Mediterranean Sea. There are a few of Christians living in Tulkarm of Palestine. A majority of the people of this city are Sunni Muslims.
Tulkarm in Palestine enjoys a sub-tropical climatic condition. During the winter season, a substantial amount of rainfall takes place. The temperature during the summer season varies from 17 C to 30 C while the temperature during the winters varies from 8 C to 16 C.

The people of Tulkarm earn their living by producing melons, tomatoes, sesame, wheat, guava, olives, etc.
For the entertainment of the people of Tulkarm, there are television broadcasts made from 3 stations known as Al-Bilad, Al-Salam and Al-Fajir. There are also two football teams in Tulkarm. They are Thaqafi Tulkarm and the Markez Shabab Tulkarm. Ekrem Akurgal, Turkish archaeologist and Queen Rania of Jordan are some notable personalities from the city of Tulkarm.
