Tulkarm is a central Palestinian city. This city of Palestine is situated inside the Green Line. Tulkarm is at a distance of 15 kilometers on the eastern side of the Mediterranean Sea. There are a few Christians living in Tulkarm of Palestine.

A majority of the people of this city are Sunni Muslims.

Tulkarm in Palestine enjoys a sub-tropical climatic condition. During the winter season, a substantial amount of rainfall takes place. The temperature during the summer season varies from 17 C to 30 C while the temperature during the winters varies from 8 C to 16 C.

Arabic and English are the languages spoken by the people of Tulkarm. There are high schools for the education of the children of the place. There is also a college called the Khodori Institute. The people of Tulkarm earn their living by producing melons, tomatoes, sesame, wheat, guava, olives, etc.

For the entertainment of the people of Tulkarm, there are television broadcasts made from 3 stations known as Al-Bilad, Al-Salam, and Al-Fajir. There are also two football teams in Tulkarm. They are Thaqafi Tulkarm and the Markez Shabab Tulkarm. Ekrem Akurgal, a Turkish archaeologist, and Queen Rania of Jordan are some notable personalities from the city of Tulkarm.
