Palestine Broadcast Corporation (PBC) is one of the leading radio and TV channels of the country. Ten years back establishment of a Palestinian radio and TV was an impossible dream under the Israeli conflicts. It broadcasts programs in both Arabic, the national language and English, the international language.
But the impossible task was fulfilled by the initiative of President of Palestine, Yasser Arafat, who allocated the responsibility of establishing the corporation to Radwan Abu Ayyash. The corporation was established on July 2nd,1994. Palestine Broadcast Corporation propagated the message of its citizen to the common Palestinian and the world. Since its establishment it has been consistently involved in educating and entertaining people. All kinds of programs such as news, entertainment, music, sports, business, economy etc are broadcasted.
Mr. Radwan Abu Ayyash was declared as the Chairman of Palestine Broadcast Corporation, who took many efforts to establish the corporation and administer its operations efficiently. The corporation has been a target of Israeli forces for a number of time as a result the stations were destroyed. They were later rebuilt and functioned properly.
