Geographic Distribution : The majority of the population of Pakistan lives along the fertile region of the Indus. In the Northern parts the Population is mainly concentrated in the cities of
Faisalabad , Rawalpindi , Islamabad , Lahore , Sialkot , Peshawar , and Gujranwala .
Though there is a decrease in the net growth rate but the population is expected to reach the 175 million mark within the next decade.
