The Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation provides external programs operating through two medium wave and three short wave transmitters. While for the internal programs it uses twenty four medium wave and eight short wave transmitters. Besides there are various FM channels entertaining the mass audience. The broadcast services are delivered in languages like English, Tamil, Dari, Farsi, French, Swahili, Turkish, Urdu, Bengali, Gujarati, Indonesian, Hindi, Burmese, Arabic and Turkmen.
