The Pakistan Hockey Federation is the official organization that governs the national hockey team of Pakistan. Hockey in Pakistan is administered by the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation is the member of the International Hockey Federation. The president of the National hockey federation is Zafarullah Khan Jamali, who is the Prime Minister of the country. The Pakistan Hockey Federation was founded in the year 1948.

Like Cricket, hockey is also played widely across the country. Hockey was introduced in Pakistan by the Britishers. Raja Ghazanfar Ali Khan was the first President of the Hockey Federation of Pakistan. Baseer Ali Sheikh was the secretary at that time. The PHF has its office in Gaddafi Cricket Stadium in Lahore.

Pakistan has won the Hockey World Cups (Mens) in the year 1960, 1968, 1984, 1994. Pakistan Hockey teams also won the men's hockey championship trophies during the year 1978, 1980 and 1994.

  • Sohail Abbas: A defender of Pakistan hockey team who holds the record of scoring most number of goals
  • Mohammad Saqlain: In 1998 he made his first debut in the international arena of hockey
  • Hassan Sardar: In 1984 he received a gold medal in Summer Olympics held in 1984
  • Shahbaz Ahmed: He played a significant role in the World Cup Hockey in 1994. He is nicknamed as 'Man with the electric heels'
  • Shahid Ali Khan: He won gold medal in Summer Olympics of 1984. He was a former goalkeeper
  • Manzoor Hussain: He is also a hockey player of Pakistan
  • Waseem Ahmad: He was once the captain of the hockey team of Pakistan
