Karachi American School was founded in 1952, which is among the elite schools in Pakistan. This is a co-educational institution that offers education up to the twelfth grade and also pre-nursery education to toddlers. The administration of Karachi American School is controlled by the Karachi American Society. This body elects a seven-member team that constitutes the board of directors who govern the day to day working of the school. The membership to the Karachi American Society comes for free to people who enroll their wards in the Karachi American School. The alumni of the school mostly go for higher studies from colleges and universities of UK, USA or Canada. The school is free from all sorts of tax implementation in America.
Education In The Karachi American School
The medium of education in Karachi American School is English. However, certain foreign languages such as Spanish and French are also taught alongside Urdu, the national language. English, as a second language is optional to certain students from standard VIII. The admission procedure of the school is dependent on a number of modern tests such as the ITBS, SAT I, SAT II, AP, PSAT and NMSQT.
