The Senior Olympics is the best chance for the sports persons, who have passed their prime age, to prove their mettle in the sports arena. This international competition is held mainly in North America and features participants from the United States of

America and Canada. The Senior Olympics is a multi-sport event and is held every two years. The Olympic for senior players was started in the year 1987. It has since been an extremely popular sporting event.

The major rule of the Senior Olympics states that the competition is open only to the people, who are over 50 years of age. A large number of reputed senior sportsmen also participate in this Senior Olympics. The main organizer of the event is the NSGA or the National Senior Games Association, which also organizes several local sporting events for senior citizens.
