Matthew Nicholas Biondi – This swimmer from United States of America has an amazing track record of winning 11 medals in the Olympics beginning from 1984 till he retired in 1992 Barcelona Olympics. He is the winner of eight gold medals titles and is regarded as one of the best swimmers in the world whose record speaks for him.
Ian Thorpe – The Australian swimmer has made his mark in swimming in the Summer Games at a young age. He has won five gold medals and has been one of the fastest swimmers in the world. He was chosen as the 'Male World Swimmer of the World' in 2002 by the Swimming World Magazine. He is nicknamed as the Thorpedo.
Gregory Efthimios Louganis- An accomplished diver who had taken part and won several diving championships and also won four gold medals at the Summer Games.
