Location of the Fengtai Softball Field : The Fengtai Softball Field is located at the Fengtai Sports Centre in the Fengtai District in Beijing . Beijing World Park is the important landmark in the area. The hotels in the Fengtai District are Sunny Capital Hotel, Wen Tao Hotel, Beijing Yue du Hotel, Beijing Fengtai Hotel Beijing, Beijing Golden Palace Silver Street Hotel, Guo Tong Hotel and Jinghua Hotel.
Description of the Fengtai Softball Field : The Fengtai Softball Field has been renovated for the 2008 Summer Games. The stadium is the first Olympic venue to be completed. The renovation has been completed on 28 th July in 2006. The stadium complex includes two competition grounds and one training ground. There are also two training fields. The 1990 Asian Games and the 1992 Women's Softball World Cup Championships were hosted in this stadium. After the renovation, the Fengtai Softball Feld has been used to host the XI Women's Softball Championship in August, 2006.
Area and Capacity of the Fengtai Softball Field : The Fengtai Softball Field covers a floor space of 15,570 square meters. The stadium has a capacity of 13,000 spectators. There is also a back up field with a capacity of 3,500 spectators.
