BMX Field in Laoshan, Shijingshan District Sports Centre

The BMX Field : The BMX Field is a BMX cycling track in Beijing . During the twenty-ninth Summer Games in 2008 , BMX cycling competitions will be held in this field.

Location of the BMX Field : The BMX Field is located in Laoshan in the Shijingshan District in the western part of Beijing. Bajiao Amusement Park or Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park , Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery and Fahai Temple are some places of interest in the Shijingshan District. Some hotels in the Shijingshan district are Sheji Hotel, Shuang Long hotel, Beijing Xijiao Hotel, Beijing Xishan Cuiyuan Mountain Villa and Jinjiang Inn.

Description of the BMX Field : The BMX Field is one of the temporary venues for the Beijing Summer Games. The field is being constructed for the 2008 Summer Games. Construction of the BMX Field will be started in 2006. Like all other venues, this field is also scheduled to be completed by the end of 2007.
