The Beijing Shooting Range Hall : The Beijing Shooting Range Hall is a shooting hall in Beijing. The Beijing Shooting Range Hall will be the venue of the qualifying rounds and finals of eleven shooting events at the twenty-ninth Summer Games . The shooting events held in this hall will include 10 meter, 25 meter and 50 meter events . The entire shooting sports events for the 2008 Summer Paralympics will also be held at this venue.
Location of the Beijing Shooting Range Hall : The Beijing Shooting Range Hall is located at the Shijingshan District in the western part of Beijing. Bajiao Amusement Park or Beijing Shijingshan Amusement Park , Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery, Fahai Temple are some important travel destinations in Shijingshan District . Sheji Hotel, Shuang Long hotel, Beijing Xijiao Hotel, Beijing Xishan Cuiyuan Mountain Villa, Jinjiang Inn are some hotels near the Beijing Shooting Range Hall in the Shijingshan district.
Description of the Beijing Shooting Range Hall : Beijing Shooting Range Hall is being constructed in former Shooting and Archery Center of the General Administration of Sports and newly chosen land of the south side. Shooting qualification halls, final hall, permanent bullet depot, Armed Police Room and relative outdoor matching facilities are being built in this hall. After the 2008 Summer Games , the Beijing Shooting Range Hall will be transformed into the training base of No.1 and No.2 national shooting teams . Important international and domestic shooting competitions will be held in the hall. Part of the range will be open to public. It will become the base of national defense education , promotion of shooting activity among common people. A shooting museum will also be set up for publicizing Olympic spirits . The construction of the Beijing Shooting Range Hall has started in July 2004 . The work is expected to be completed in March 2007 .
