Football

The football game at the Summer Olympics of 2008 will have categories for both men and women. Men’s football set its mark for the first time in the Olympics in 1900. Women’s football came only recently in the year of 1996.

The Men’s team will have players having an age less than 23 years except three over-age players. The football match for the Beijing Summer Games of 2008 is scheduled to be held from 6^th to 24^th August. The finals will take place on 22^nd and 23^rd August. There will be 16 teams in men’s tournament and 12 teams in women’s tournament.
