81-91Kg (Heavyweight)-Men

The 81-91Kg (Heavyweight)-Men of the 2008 Beijing Summer Games is supposed to be held between 9th and 24th August. The venue that has been selected for the event Workers' Indoor Arena in Chaoyang District of the Beijing City. The competition will take place between boxers having weight between 81 Kg and 91 Kg.

The 81-91Kg (Heavyweight)-Men of the 2008 Summer Games will be judged by the AIBA approved judges and referee. It put its first step in to the Summer Games in the year of 1904. The winner gets the gold medal and the loosing finalist gets the silver medal. Besides, two bronze medals are received by the loosing semi-finalists.

Some of the notable boxers who have set their standards in the event of 81-91Kg (Heavyweight)-Men at Olympics are given below:

  • Edward Sanders from United States
  • Albert Oldman from Great Britain
  • Herbert Runge of Germany
  • Rafael Iqlesias of Argentina
  • Odlanier Solis of Cuba
  • Otto von Porat of Norway and so on.
