4x100m Freestyle Relay (Men) is an integral part of the various swimming events that are conducted in the Summer Games. Freestyle is one of the most widely practiced swimming styles that are opted by swimmers across the globe. There are several unregulated strokes that are a part of freestyle swimming. 4x100m Freestyle Relay require four swimmers. Each swimmer will swim 100m and hand over the baton to the next swimmer and the process continues till four laps are completed. The team completing it fastest wins.
4x100m Freestyle Relay (Men) consists of strokes namely sidestroke, dog paddle and front crawl. Among these, the front crawl is the greatest speed generating swimming stroke but it is not regularized by FINA. 4x100m Freestyle Relay (Men) in Beijing Summer Games 2008 is going to be grand event. All the swimming events in Beijing Summer Games are scheduled to be held from 9th August to 21st August. All the swimming events in Beijing Summer Games 2008 will be conducted at the Beijing National Aquatics Center.
Medals are awarded to the winners of the swimming competition. Till date, nine gold medals have been awarded to the winners. Participant swimmers from the United States of America have carved a niche for themselves in this particular swimming event in the Olympics. They have won seven gold medals out of the nine awarded.
