100m Butterfly (Women) at Beijing Summer Games is a popular swimming event in the Summer Games. Swimming is one of the events that attract numerous people from all over to the world to the Olympic arena. Initially women were not allowed to participate in any form of swimming events. But gradually things changed with time. There are also other events of swimming that are conducted during the Olympics. The 1956 Summer Olympics saw the first (Women) 100m Butterfly Event.
