The RaceThe 5000 Meter Team Race at Olympics consisted of ten runners of each team who would complete 10 laps of 500 meters each. The point system was calculated in an inverse manner. The runner earned points according to their standings and the team with the lowest points was declared the winner.
Olympic ResultThe 5000 Meter Team Race was the last track and field event in the 1900 Olympics, Paris. Only two teams France and a combined team took part in the event. The combined team, consisted of athletes from Britain and Australia, won the gold medal.
