Ancient North Korea represents the historical scenario of the entire nation. To get a clear picture of today's North Korea we should need to know about the Ancient North Korea. In the 17th century, Korea became a state of China and was disconnected from the outside world until the Sino-Japanese War of 1894–1895. Just after the victory of Japan, Korea get the independence.
After Japan surrendered after the World War II, the Korean peninsula got divided into two occupation zones. The USSR started governing the North Korea and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea came into operation from 1st May, 1948, Kim Il Sung being the president.
For the unification of the Koreas under a single Communist government, the North founded an invasion of South Korea on 25th June, 1950.Thereafter the UN Security Council demanded an immediate withdrawal.
After this several historical events took place and few year later the invaders of the North Korea swiftly take over Seoul and bounded the allied forces in the peninsula's (southeast corner near Pusan). For a long time Ancient North Korea underwent major political changes. The Korean war affected this country a lot and after the completion of this remarkable civil war certain changes took place. During this war North Korea got excessive support from the People's Republic of China.
The war started on 1950 when North Korea attacked South Korea and was lasted for a long time. After the completion of this war several changes were brought to North Korea. kim, the Prime minister of the DPRK became very powerful and started to handle the major political issues of North Korea.
